A Catch-up!

Hey friends! So I have much news to report! I had quite the busy weekend and I finally have a few moments to give you a run down with some event highlights!

This past Saturday I had a few events to attend, I was surprisingly a really rad day despite all the running around!

The first stop was to the Clore Beauty Supply in Brampton, for a promotional event during which I spoke on a panel with some other amazing local influencers! (@pixelatedpassion, @ebonicurlsblog, @mikalishauna, @mscatrin, @kimirajewles) We were all given a product from the Flawless Hair Care line by Gabrielle Union (check out my in-depth review Here). We chatted on a live panel at the store and did product demos and handed out a discount for anyone who came in store! It was so much fun meeting and connecting with everyone!

I then headed back to Hamilton and went to I Heart Beer Show, this was so much fun, over 30 different food and drink vendors all under one roof! It was really amazing! Although I am not a beer drinker, I love cider, and I got to try some really cool ones and eat some delicious bacon-themed foods! If you have not been, I would highly recommend checking it out it was so fun they have music, photo booth, giant Jenga, a beer pong tournament, and so much more! It’s a great time!!

After that, we hopped in the car and drove down to Toronto to go to Toronto Men’s Fashion Week opening party at Rebel Nightclub! I haven’t been there in years so it was interesting to return! The party was really cool they had the most amazing set up of balloons in the corner of the room and there was desserts, drinks, and a pretty rad DJ! But we were pretty tired, so after a few drinks, pictures and mingling we headed off to the Keg and had a much-deserved dinner and glass of wine!

Then like the cool kids we are, we headed back to our hotel to crash! The hotel was really nice, we stayed at the Chelsea Hotel, and they upgraded our room which was sweet! Very clean and lovely staff! They have great amenities too, the following morning we went for a dip in the pool and spa which was so nice! It has a great view of the city.

The next morning we then ventured to Oretta for brunch with my friend Emily and her partner. This restaurant is adorable, and I was so curious as I always see it on the ‘gram!

I got the pancakes which were delicious but they did tend to break apart which made them interesting to eat. They were made of something very dense but almost cornbread like but all in all they tasted delicious!

It was such a busy but FANTASTIC weekend! I met so many lovely people and had such a fun time! I would totally do it again! 🙂 ✌🏾♥️
